The Cause of Disunity.

Duly elected church officials in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenya have been locked out, literally, of church leadership by Rev. Walter Obare.

A church convention was called for elections. Bishop Thomas Asiago and two of the other four bishops of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenya (ELCK) brought duly chosen delegates with the minutes from their meetings but they were met by armed guards at the convention and locked out of the proceedings.

This is not the first time that Rev. Obare has manipulated church conventions in violation of the ELCK constitution. This has been an ongoing problem for years and the other bishops and the Christians of the ELCK have finally grown tired of it.
