Bishop Asiago and Communications Director Kennedy Atura meeting with Bishop (District President) Daniel Gilbert of the Northern Illinois Diocese (District) of Illinois (NID). President Gilbert shared outreach methods of the NID and Bishop Asiago shared the wrangling and struggles in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenya.

Bishop Asiago stands on the shore of the Mississippi River in Perry County, Mo. This is where C F W Walther and the other Saxons landed and formed the LCMS and where they later sent the authoritarian, embezzling and womanizing false Bishop Stefan across the river once excommunicated.
10/13/2015 - LCMS' FIRST SCHOOL & SEMINARY

Bishop Asiago and Rev. Atura were warmly received at the LCMS International Center and were able to talk about concerns about life in the ELCK.

While in Fort Wayne Bishop Asiago met with Pastor Petersen of Redeemer Lutheran to hear about the liturgy being done in its richest fulness.
10/15/15 - Cleveland, Ohio
More than 50 people came out to here Bishop Asiago speak about the church in Kenya and the struggles in the ELCK.
10/16/15 - Concordia Seminary, Fort Wayne
The bishop was warmly received although one professor, a friend of Walter Obare, expressed concern that Bishop Asiago was disrupting the ELCK. We believe his efforts are bringing unity to the ELCK.
10/17/15 - Detroit, Michigan
Bishop Asiago is speaking at many places in America. Here he is shown squeezing in some prep time for his talks in Michigan.
10/21 - Valparaiso Circuit Meeting
Bishop Asiago met with pastors and guests from the Valparaiso Circuit (same as a parish in Kenya). Thanks to Rev. Robert Rahn for hosting the Bishop in Michigan for a few days.
10/22/15 - Trinity Lutheran, Excelsior Springs, Missouri
Several people from several churches came out for lasagna and a presentation by the Bishop. Bishop and Rev. Atura liked the Chicago style pizza but they like lasagna even more. Thanks to Pastor Drew Newman for organizing the event.
10/22/15 - Lincoln, Nebraska
This is Cornhusker country and they were eager to hear about Gospel preaching in in the ELCK but were saddened by news of all the wranglings in the church. They pledged their prayers and support to help bring unity to the church in Kenya. Thank you to Pastor Clint Poppe, a very strong leader, who hosted us. Time to drive three hours to Kansas City for another presentation today.

The trip to America is winding down. We are back in Naperville ehete started. Bishop preached all four services and made a presentation to the one hundred people in Bible class.
